The Windows home server is a set of programs that are useful for the operation of a computer. Certain steps are involved in the installation process. Let's discover these steps
Check the compatibility of the hard disk.
The family of hard disks has evolved over the years to make it easier and simpler to use. It is necessary to ensure that the device is equipped with a suitable hard disk; click here to see the different models of hard disk. If not, the device is in danger of being restructured and formatted. An alert will appear informing you of the incompatibility of the drive.
This alert will show the minimum capacity, 65 GB that you must have and connect to a disk controller. Press OK to proceed if the device meets the requirements. Once done, the installation is started immediately. You are given to insert the dedicated DVD for this purpose after which the computer is started. This is how Windows PE receives the first programs. A second message will immediately indicate that Windows is being downloaded.
Run the commands one after the other
After all of the above, a table will appear indicating: WELCOME TO THE WINDOWS SERVER INSTALLATION PROGRAM. It also informs you about the next step of the process by guiding you. To continue, press "next" written below. Disks will then appear allowing you to load the drivers. After checking that the driver loading is activated, press "next" again to display the Windows installer.
Start the operation itself
As soon as you start, the disk preparation process is activated in three phases: creating the compartments, formatting and displaying the Windows server. The program starts copying the files to the Windows locations for several minutes. Once this is done, it is possible to create folders, define user access and consult the status of the computer. Once the updates are done, your Windows home server will be activated
